Our History
The Ipswich Partnership is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed in 1995 after the departure from downtown Ipswich of Sylvania, Woolworth’s, and Hills. The original partnership focused on downtown renewal in the period before EBSCO became a huge operation in Ipswich. In 2021, local business owners and community leaders came together to renew the partnership as a catalyst for leveraging Ipswich’s unique strengths and characteristics, inspiring a new generation of leaders, and identifying opportunities for community investment and engagement.
